IS THE “WAR ON COVID” GOVERNMENT’S NEW “WAR ON DRUGS”?
Conformity Isn’t Unity

I was a Corporal in the Marines, and like many, I can put myself where I was when I heard about the devastating news that a plane crashed into one of the twin towers. This month marks 20 years since our country was attacked. We were at war less than 2 years later. When I think about it, I can take myself back and tap into the emotions I felt then. American citizens were together, United. We were all on the same team, and that was Team Red, White, & Blue.
Now, 20 years later as we pull out of Afghanistan, our country is more divided than I’ve seen in my 41 years of existence (maybe I’m just more aware now?). Our country now is split between 3 teams; 2 major teams (Red OR Blue), and a small, but growing team, “White”?… [That sounds like a description of the people that make up Team Purple, WHITE; a bunch of old, rich white men.]
THE DIVIDE
TEAM PURPLE has, and continues to succeed in keeping our country divided. The System they have built relies on our country staying split. Their strategy, and the tactics they use to ensure this continues go SO deep and SO far back it’s hard to believe. Fifty years ago our government rolled out the War on Drugs with the purpose of suppressing the black and brown community. Marijuana is still classified as a Schedule 1 drug, and while this plant is now making MANY millions, the minority community is still being victimized. For example, look at the NYC’s Marijuana Criminal Court Summonses by race from the Jan-Mar 2021:
Black- 2,374
Hispanic- 1,089
White- 102
WAR ON COLOR
With only 30% of African American getting the vaccine, is the War on Covid government’s way to continue to suppress the minority community? When you look at the amount of companies requiring their employees take the vaccine, it’s easy to see how this will start to affect the minority community. Keep in mind, as of today (9.2.21), the White House, CDC, FDA do not require their employees to have it.
The 58th anniversary of MLK’s speech at the March on Washington was a couple weeks ago. Eight years later, the War on Drugs began. As the country is realizing the War on Drugs was not because of the harms of cannabis, and as our government attempts [VERY SLOWLY] to back out of this mess, they are starting a new War that will do as much harm, if not more to our country (specifically our minority communities).
Furthermore, with NYC’s vaccine mandates to go out to restaurants, gyms. movies, etc… if it’s SO dangerous, why is it not immediately enforced? It’s like a hurricane is upon us, but don’t worry about evacuating until next month. How does that serve its purpose, other than the government taking baby steps to get us used to it/accept it?
My intuition is telling me there is some shady shit going on. With that said, I respect everyone’s choice to do whatever they want with their body. I also know that FEAR and STRESS causes illness, and illness equals $$$$$$ to Big Pharma.
